It's a great place to take the kids! They thoroughly enjoyed it! We wanted to camp-out the water levels were too high so the lake was closed. There are plenty of tables with umbrellas for shade, lots of seating, and even have cabanas for an additional cost. We will definitely return!
Hidden gem. This was our first visit. We had a good time. The staff was very nice and the water park was very nice and clean.
Let me start with, this facility is not like other Jellystone Parks. If you’re expecting the normal Yogi amenities such as mini golf, playgrounds, jumping pillows, rangers stations, etc. this is not it. The sites are good and level, coming with a concrete picnic table and plenty of space, nice views of the lake and restrooms available nearby (however they have seen a better day and in need of some TLC). The water inflatable obstacle course is not open but there are plenty of areas to fish and play in the water. Multiple boat ramps make it easy to enjoy the lake. The water park is small; there are 2 slides and a small splash pad, along with a smaller pool with basketball courts; it’s fun for smaller children. Overall it’s a very basic campground and works well if your expectations aren’t high, but if you’re looking for the extras - it’s not it.
Labor Day Weekend 2025, we enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. Electric and water hookups were also great. The new operator was so nice and ever-present. Our reservations were made through campspot and I appreciated the honey wagon service. Pool was clean and fun. If you haven't been here in awhile give it another try, if never been definitely worth a trip.
We used to enjoy coming here, but this year the price increased yet again. $50 for just me and my 7 year old to go (Because 5 and up are considered adults ) and every time we went it was SO crowded you couldn’t even swim. When we tried getting in the pool my daughter and i were both kicked in the face by some kid attempting to dive lol that crowded ! the water was cloudy and all i could think about was all the pee that was prob in the pool . So we ended up leaving after an hour both times.
