Attended the doggy splash day at the end of the summer and had a blast. Great staff presence and crowd.
This was a great and inexpensive place to take a group of kids and adults! Thanks to Mr. James H. and staff for teaching us the rules of the park and Fitness center!!!! We had a great time, and we WILL be back....#ALCOGIC
This is a nice spacious facility. Huge parking lot which is a plus. The front desk staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was seamless; they accept cash and cashless payments. There are several flyers in place for community events and such. This was nice to see. The pool was busy and that made my day. Everyone staying active and making it fun. When I saw mostly elders, I was concerned the pool would be too warm but the temperature was on point. I got some laps in and then enjoyed the hot tub right after. A perfect way to start the day. What I will say is the showers are directly next to the toilets. Someone was releasing their internal demons during my shower so if you are reading this, do that at home. The dove on my body can’t erase the internal turmoil your body is going through. Overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely come back and I recommend others visit as well.
I love coming here in any season but the summer. The inside staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the swim instructors and the swim classes for my kids. The swim instructors and indoor lifeguards have been so very kind and respectful. SUMMER TIME BEWARE!!! The staff before you get inside the pool are very nice but once you get inside it is a different story. I said excuse me to one of the female managers to ask a question regarding my child taking the swim test and she responded like I was bothering her taking me totally by surprise. The rules in the main area are extremely strict. If you want to come there to practice the swim skills your kids have learned in swim class, don't do it! Some of the lifeguards are extremely strict and rude and will not allow you to go pass the shallow section in the main pool. They say if it is over your child's shoulders even if you are with them and want to practice with them you cannot. The shallow part is always crowded. I have seen so many parents ask the lifeguards in a friendly manner if they could move over just a little to the other side which is about about 4 ft or under and two of the young ladies responded in such a rude manner. The young men are much friendlier and respectful when answering questions. I bought a 3 months membership for the summer but only came to that location twice. There needs to be training in professionalism at this facility and a seasoned manager to correct rudeness and unprofessionalism.
I have taken my children many times and have been frustrated on several occasions that the sessions and hours posted on the website were not what the facility and had posted in the building and were following. For example, I have showed up when it with with me and my 3 kids during a general swim for the training that was still a program time for the main pool. I basically had to beg them to let in so we could use the training pool as we had planned. Most recently I tried take my kids to the indoor pool in the summer and at some point between June 17 and July 1 they made the indoor pool adults only. Did they update the website with this information? Of course not, they just printed signs that say "indoor pool adults only" so that after you bring your family with the intent of a sun free pool day you leave disappointed and frustrated. They need to do a better job of keeping the website accurate so patrons know who can show up when.
