Amusement park with roller coasters and a water park, plus food and games.
Six Flags America's Hurricane Harbor water park generally heats its pools and water attractions for guest comfort. However, specific, publicly disclosed temperature figures for its pools are not typically made available to the public. Guests can expect the water to be maintained at a comfortable and enjoyable temperature during operational hours.

The park is closing permanently at the end of the season. There were 2 big coasters and numerous other rides closed all day and possibly already closed permanently. Most of the employees were barely doing their job. I wish I would have visited this park in the past, prior to the closure announcement. The park was pretty dead, so no long lines. The rides we did get to ride were fun.
Great time had by everyone that was there. It was a Saturday and a bit hot but the lines were not that long and all the rides seemed to be working. Would def recommend everyone going and experiencing this park before it closes at the end of this season.
I came to Six Flags America for my final visit before they permanently close at the end of 2025. The park definitely appears to be shutting down, and does not have the greatest coaster collection. When purchasing merchandise in the main gift shop, the cashier refused to give us the June discount that we get for visiting the park 3 times. This has been a problem at all Six Flags parks, but was the absolute worst at this park. She said to find a manager ourselves, as she could not get one. This was very rude, as she had a phone. To make things worse, when we did find a manager, and told him that we had to find him on our own, the cashier denied that and called us liars. This would not have been a problem if she just called a manager in the first place. The only saving grace for this park is that Superman and Joker’s Jinx were very good. I will not be returning next year.
Amazing, glad we went on a weekday, not too crowded. Water Park was the bomb, Splash Water Fall, Hurricane Harbor was my favorite, the waves felt like the real beach I grew up around in San-Pedro in the Atlantic Ocean. I thought I would die in the Ragin Cajun 😂. I have so much to say! Kids had fun, I enjoyed myself, great value for the price! Going back before it closes! Awesome experience overall
I made a special trip to visit from Texas this summer, so I could see the park before it closed for good. Normally, I would hate to see a park disappear, but not this one. Multiple closed rides, disinterested or plain rude staff, single trains on all the coasters, rides frequently down, and by far the worst ride ops I've ever seen. Can someone please explain why there are 2 operators at most rides and there were 8 at Superman on 7/22? Restraint checks take up to 5 minutes on rides that should take no more than 2 minutes. I know these seem like pointless complaints when it's closing anyway, but it matters if you think anyone at management should be relocated. It's a shame because you can see the potential in the park. the entrance plaza is nice and there are attempts at themed areas that mostly work. It's just wasted on a park the company didn't have long-term plans for. Shame. My day wasn't a complete waste. I left after less than 3 hours and went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a great end to the day.
