What are people saying (AI review summary)? Little Hunting Park (LHP) generally receives praise for its excellent facilities, which include a great pool with a deep end, springboard, baby pool, and lap swimming, as well as courts for tennis, pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball, and amenities like ping pong, foosball, a playground, barbecue pits, and covered seating. Many reviewers highlight the strong sense of community, friendly families, and the fantastic swim and tennis programs, including summer camps and winter swim options, making it a beloved family destination and a good investment. However, significant concerns are raised about the current board members, who are described as immature and unqualified, with allegations of memberships being prioritized for swim team families over the waitlist. Another major negative point is a severe yellow jacket problem, which has led to stings and medical incidents.

So much good going on at LHP. Friendly families, fun swim team, immaculate vibes 💚
This pool was amazing but is now run by one of the most immature, selfish, unqualified and ignorant group of board members. Also I hope everyone on the waitlist knows that memberships are being handed to families involved with the swim team instead of off of the list. The members are all great and the facility is wonderful, but I sincerely wish the staff luck with this board.
Great pool. They have a deep end with spring board and a baby pool. Also a ping pong table. There's covered seating areas and plenty of chairs around the pool. Great family place.
Our family enjoys membership at LIttle Hunting Park. The pool hours are great in the summer months, with lap swimming, a diving area and kiddie pool, plus tennis and pickleball courts, a basketball court, ping pong and foosball. There are areas for sand volleyball and a playground, as well as barbecue pits to grill your own food. There is a pavilion area you can rent for parties that hosts Friday pasta dinners for the swim and tennis teams. There are bathrooms with showers and changing facilities. My kids enjoy the grill, where you can get a quick meal or snack or drink. My boys participate in swim team and tennis, which is a fantastic community. There is a good summer camp option for school aged kids. My husband is on the men's tennis team and a USTA team outside the club with members from LHP. LHP Gators Swim offers "winter swim" on Sundays which is great for keeping up with stroke development and technique and an affordable alternative to weekly swim lessons or year round swim team. We love the sense of community at LHP and seeing our friends and classmates. If you can, get an August membership before joining so you can see if you like LHP before joining. There is a waitlist, but you can find someone to purchase a membership. This is part of my daily summer routine and one of our best investments as a family!
Facility and pool is nice. But must do something about the yellow jackets. They were absolutely everywhere. Got stung twice. Lifeguard had to pull out stinger and apply medication. Still ended up at ER because it swelled faster than I was comfortable. Two days with out my dominant hand.
