My little sweet pea of an 8-year-old old daughter loves this place more than anywhere else in her world, so we go pretty much every week. It's not too big, not too small, and the staff there are really kind too. It's also a lovely drive to get there. PCWP is highly recommended!
First time going. Perfect park for families with younger children 10 and under (older children would be better at Great Waves or Water Mine). My 7 year old "LOVED IT" and said to give it 5 stars. There's a sand pit with water tables and a baby pool woth a slide for the littles. Two medium sized water slides for kids 42" or taller 250lb weight limit. Large connected pools with a playground in the middle containing lots of fun, slides, and a large dumping bucket. There's an area that can be rented for parties. Food, drinks and ice cream can be purchased. They do have a small store with pool items such as swimsuits, toys, sun block etc. I gave it 4 stars because I showed up with a picnic full of food not realizing it was a NOVA park and not FAIRFAX COUNTY PARK. It would be nice if we had the choice to bring in food but then they'd have to raise their prices to nearly $20/each like FFXCO.
It was okay. The park was quite crowded, but that’s expected with the weather, so it’s understandable. A downside was that each person was only allowed to bring one bottle of water and no food. Inside, the food options were unfortunately unhealthy – as usual in the US. The park also looks bigger in the pictures than it actually is. On the positive side, there were plenty of lifeguards, which made us feel safe.
Its kind of small and that great. As with all of the nova waterparks they dont have private changing rooms, only place to change in private is in the showers and toilet. At least it is clean. Food is not great and you absolutely can NOT bring any food, I mean they refused me to bring my protein shake, come on now!
We had a GREAT time! The staff at the front entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and understood the rules and regulations of the park. The lifeguards are super attentive and made us feel safe during our stay. The pool manager was kind and friendly when we encountered him. The concessions stand was fast and efficient, the food was great and an affordable price! Lastly on our way out the staff at the front went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure our stay met our expectations! Overall we are very pleased :)
