Dear DPR Team, I visited the Wisconsin swimming pool today (Friday) around 5:45 PM to relax and enjoy some quality time with my family. As always, the facility itself is beautiful and a great place for families. However, I had a disappointing experience at the front desk during check-in. The young lady working at that time did not seem welcoming or professional. Her facial expression was unapproachable, and she appeared distracted, talking on the landline phone while also using her cellphone. When I attempted to ask a question, she ignored me completely. There was no greeting, no smile, not even toward the children. This kind of behavior does not reflect the friendly and family-oriented environment this place is known for. If she is a paid staff member, I strongly recommend that DPR provide her with proper training on customer service, particularly in the areas of hospitality, greeting guests, and respectful communication. If there is a knowledge gap regarding her role and responsibilities, I believe some coaching would greatly improve the guest experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope this helps improve service for everyone who comes to enjoy this great facility.

I LOVED swimming at Roosevelt Aquatic Center! I went at 7pm on a weekday evening in the fall with my 3 year old kiddo. The pool was quiet and the people who worked there were so friendly and helpful. They found us a life jacket that was just her size. It is now my favorite pool in DC!

Roosevelt Aquatic Center is a great neighborhood pool. It is open before and after school — hours are posted on the door. I have been. A few times and it is not too crowded. Seems like most people show up around 5:00, but it cleared out by 6:30pm. Note the website is out of date — it says the pool is closed until July 22, but that is from last summer.
