Great experience, August tenth was the last day of the season. My sister and I were so happy to be here for the last day of the season.
I visited this facility today and was totally disappointed. #1. There was a homeless man lying up against the front entrance with all his belonging. No one had the commons sense to ask him to not be here doing business hours? #2. The tired receptionist stared me down asking me if she could help me as if I was being interviewed for a job #3. I have never seen a life guard wearing clothesđ”âđ«this will take away from the time to help someone drowning #4. All types of insects and debris was floating on top of the pool. #5. The pool needs to be painted. Its yellowish brown & rusty looking. At least give an illusion the water is clean. #6. I smelled zero chlorine. Stop allowing anyone to do anything.. for a check' customers are still #1 in servicing people. Stop under-estimating people. Do better damn!
Nice clean facility! The swimming pool is large with a separate baby pool. Responsible youth lifeguards on duty. Must wear mask and show DC residency upon entering. Nice lounge chairs to relax and take a nice nap. Adults get there by noon to enjoy the solitude- children usually arrive around 2pm.
Staff's music is too loud. They often play trap rap music, sometimes with curse words. Don't like to be subjected to their music choice. No rule about loud music. Just be courteous to everyone.
Nice pool. All the chairs were broken. Lifeguards need to pay attention to children more. Football was passed end to end. Umbrella blew off guard stand, and could've been a terrible accident. No concern was really shown.
