What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility are mixed, with strong positive feedback on its cleanliness, well-maintained environment, effective swim lessons, and friendly staff, making it enjoyable for families and children. Many appreciate the amenities like sprinklers and varied pool depths, and express intent to return or purchase season passes. However, significant concerns exist regarding accessibility and cost. One reviewer found the $20 per person fee to be excessive. A major point of contention is a recent policy change that restricts access to residents only, which has been met with strong negative reactions from non-residents, who describe it as elitist, unfair, and discriminatory, particularly for families from neighboring towns who were previously welcome.

20 dollars per person is absolutely ridiculous. Just wanted to take the family somewhere that's not the city and quiet. Well I guess not....
Great place for summer activities! The swim lessons are awesome for getting kids comfortable in the water. Get your swim pass!
Our family recently moved to Holden and I finally took my 2.5 yr old to the pool and we had a wonderful time. The pool and surrounding area are very clean and well maintained! Great staff too. Had a lovely day and my daughter especially loved the sprinklers .. great assortments of depths...something for kids and adults. Will definitely purchase a season pass next season and make more frequent trips.
Went with the grandkids, had a nice time.
They used to allow non-residents to use the pool as long as you paid more money, but that has since changed. Now, only residents are allowed in. I went there with my three boys and their three friends and mind you it was a hot sunny day to find out non-residents are no longer allowed because the town select board voted to only allow residents to use it. This seems highly elitist, unfair, and some sort of discrimination. We live in West Boylston the next town over and we’re turned away. I can accept this for myself, but not when it comes to my boys. They deserve to have fun too like anyone else. I suspect that the snobby towns’ committee people, and the Holden pool’s employees will be on Santa’s naughty list next Christmas.
