I'm glad we have it! Multiple communities enjoy this pool. It gets crowded, but nothing like NYC. Everyone involved puts a lot into maintaining it. They open weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend, then everyday once schools dismiss for the summer. It serves a lot of programs and activities and a high school swim team. There are lap lanes and a slide. The concession stand offers light fare. They have a fryer.

My daughter is apart of swim team so Belvidere is a spot we visit throughout the season. The one thing my daughter hated was not having a ledge to step up on to pull up out of the pool. Good community pool with a lot of supporters. I found a wallet on a bench and turned it in. I still hope 2 weeks later somebody found their wallet because I did the right thing!
