What are people saying (AI review summary)? The gym receives mixed reviews, with several positive aspects alongside significant criticisms. Members often praise the good selection of equipment, the overall atmosphere for training, and the quality of the pool, noting its depth and number of lanes, with some areas appearing recently remodeled. However, there are prevalent complaints regarding cleanliness and long-standing maintenance issues, particularly with broken steam rooms and ongoing construction in the men's locker room. Customer service is a frequent point of contention, with staff often described as rude, unenthusiastic, and uncaring, leading to a less welcoming environment. A major safety concern is the lack of child supervision, with numerous reports of children playing on workout equipment, creating unsafe conditions, and disrupting other members' workouts. Pool access is also a challenge for some, as high school students often monopolize lanes. Additionally, the gym does not accept Silver Sneakers insurance and has a restrictive guest pass policy. One long-term member expressed a strong sentiment that the gym has declined significantly over the past decade.

Good gym. Not super clean but with so many members it's hard to keep clean during the day. Lots of people all hours. Good equipment and a Pool. One thing is they are not a Silver Sneakers member and therefore, my insurance can't pay my dues. otherwise, good gym
Always a good place to get your workout in. Great machines, good atmosphere, steam rooms are a plus as well. If you’re here to train, it’s really amazing. Staff does not seem stoked to be there. Give them a raise. 😂
🚩The gym has gone downhill really bad in the last 10 years!!!!🚩(Terrible Customer Service)!! Continue reading (Member for 10 years)!!⬇️ !!The majority of the staff are rude and don’t greet you anymore it used to feel like a second home.!!! The men’s locker room (Steam room and sauna haven’t worked in two years) Now the mens locker room has been under construction since December. !!(Olympic Indoor Pool) If you’re part of the working class and want to use the pool, GOOD LUCK 🍀 you’ll have to fight over open lanes with high school students “…. They’ll say that they only use 4 lanes, but their friends, students or people on other swim teams use the other lanes !! You will literally see people getting off work wanting to swim laps…it’s extremely annoying!!! The only time I can go use the pool and know that there might be a lane open is between ( 8:45PM and 10:00pm) Honestly, I loved this gym at one point !! But I would highly recommend spending a little extra money and go to (Verdure) it’s sad that the staff don’t care about the members anymore!!
Update: 8/20/25 ATC responded saying they were going to watch more. It hasn’t gotten any better. Last night three kids played around the new workout part of the track upstairs while their mom worked out. Today, I quit my workout after a mom brought her kids who had been having fun swinging on the TRX ropes to do gymnastics on the turf right in front of me. This isn’t a daycare. It’s not safe, it’s time to look for a new gym. I’ve been going to ATC for years. When I started my kids were under 10 and had to either sit or had to be in the kids zone. In the last year I noticed kids, sometimes like 4 or 5 playing on equipment while their parents workout. This week I worked out probably 5 or 6 days and there was not a single day that I didn’t work out near or next to young kids right now there is a young girl playing on the smith machine type structure like monkey bars. She has weights out, a band, a box and is running back and forth between her mom lifting and playing. Another day this week I had to weight to do the stair climber while a dad let his kids no way they were older than 5 and 7 get through. They then went back and forth from the bikes and treadmills playing for an hour. Another day a mom came in and literally took up 6 treadmills between her and her little kids. I’ve seen someone give their kids a TRX and 3 bossu balls to play on. I get it! I am a parent and it’s hard. I love that the kids want to exercise, But it’s not safe. I’ve seen machines fall on heads, weights get dropped on people, kids get seriously injured. it makes parents who are near have to worry about the kids getting hurt and it interferes with people trying to get in a legit workout.
I absolutely love this place, but my only complaint is that they don’t have separate guest passes for people from out of town. You have to be accompanied by a member the whole time. I’m visiting from Houston for a couple days and decided to visit today. Went with a member and it was only $5! Very good price. Mainly came here for the pool and it was great! Absolutely love the depth and the amount of lanes to choose from. I normally lift a lot too, and the selection of machines looks pretty good! Looks like it’s been recently remodeled too. It’s very nice inside. Definitely will have to come back when I’m visiting again. Hopefully they will have separate guest passes (that don’t require a member) eventually? I would pay good money for that!
