El Alamo Splash Pad, located in Amarillo, TX, is a community water play area featuring various interactive sprays, fountains, and shallow water elements designed for children and families to cool off and enjoy during warmer months.
Being a splash pad, El Alamo utilizes unheated, ambient temperature water for its features. Specific pool temperature data is not typically available or regulated, as it does not contain traditional heated pools, with water temperatures generally reflecting the surrounding air.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The splash pad is currently closed as of April 16, 2024, but is expected to open soon. When operational, users note that the activation button is hard to use and the splash pad needs some maintenance and tender loving care (TLC). Despite these issues, children (and even a pet ferret) have a great time, and the park itself is considered nice. A common request is for more shade.
