Indoor pool with lanes for laps, plus a shallow area for children and lessons.
The main pool at Mack Indoor Pool is consistently heated to 84 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 29 degrees Celsius), providing a comfortable environment for swimming and aquatic activities.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This community pool generally receives mixed reviews. Many users praise it as a great place for lap swimming, citing reasonable pricing, good locker room conditions (though a lock is needed), and plenty of lanes. Private swim lessons are also noted as a positive experience. However, common complaints include the water often being too cold, especially for younger children, and inadequate parking. Some users also expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of private changing or showering facilities outside of toilet stalls, and restrictive lifeguard rules regarding swim gear (like masks and flippers), as well as perceived lifeguard inattentiveness. While movie nights are offered in a warm pool, the general consensus on water temperature for casual swimming is negative. Accessing the pool deck without walking through wet, gender-separated locker rooms was also mentioned as a desired improvement.

Went here for open swim. Very reasonable pricing. Came here to practice swimming w our young kids, and it was very chilly. Better temp for swimming laps
Great place for lap swims. Locker rooms in good condition and bring your own locks. Big shower room and lots of lanes for swimming. Check the schedule though especially for weekends. Take note of the movie night offerings too. Have not been to one but hard to resist watching Wonder Woman while floating in a big warm pool!
There’s hardly any parking, the water feels colder even than the 83 it is supposedly kept at, no private showering nor dressing spaces other than toilet stalls, overall not worth the entrance cost.
Nice little community pool. Took my teenage son for a private swim lesson to improve his technique, and he had a really good experience. Would be nice if there were a way to access the pool deck without waking through the (wet floor, gender separated) locker rooms.
Went there with grandkids who have learned to swim with swim masks and flippers. The lifeguard said no swim masks in kiddie area because it would take too long to get the mask off in an emergency??? And flippers forget it. Then the lifeguard who was watching the pool went over to an alcove and practiced the flute. Didn't know AA pays for flute practice time. Since all the fun was gone we stayed about 10 minutes and left. Won't go back.
