Y'all, I really LOVE this park. First, I always have my dog with me. It has a nice community dog park inside as well as lots of nature to enjoy. They literally have a zoo inside the park. Wow. But you can see enough just taking a stroll around the pond. Make sure you bring some quarters to buy duck, fish and turtle feed. What a wonderful afternoon treat. If you are anywhere near, take the time to drop by. You will be glad you did.
The pool was very clean and refreshing.. lifeguards on duty.. very orderly.. well worth the 1$ entry 👌
The pool area was clean, shaded areas available to relax in, life guards friendly. Cost to get in was next to nothing! (Visiting other local pools were very pricy in order to keep up its high standards of membership,,,,) Recommend this place for summer fun!
I wish they would hire “lifeguards” that actually care and are nice and compassionate. We went one time and some kid pooped in the pool and they closed it completely (I understand that) we had been there 2 minutes and didn’t even get a chance to get wet...he wouldn’t return my money even though he recognized I had just walked in.
The park was unbelievably unkept. The smell of dog poo was everywhere. There was no designation for small or big dogs. I feared for my dogs life seeing that dogs of all sizes were in one location. The parks location was hard to find and hard to access if you are handicapped. I will never bring my dog back here.
