Second time going to this pool in my life and I grew up in the area. They have an area on the hill to go in the pool entrance where other cars were parked. So I parked. I also have a handicap plaque in my car yet they do not have handicap parking area. Everything was going well until a police officer came into the pool area telling everyone if you're parked on the hill you have to move your car because it's for employees only and if you don't move your car will be ticketed and towed. However, there is No sign at all stating Employees Only Parking, or a Do Not Enter Sign so cars won't park there, or even a NO Parking Sign. You have police in uniform parked in their personal vehicles for what reason I don't know but for myself it was wrong. If the park doesn't want vehicles to park there then there should be signs stating so. My son I left and I don't think I will be returning. There's no telling how many other people they have done like that.
So much fun! The lifeguards are on point and watching out for the safety of everyone. The splash pad is also awesome!
Incident at the pool. Disrespectful and unresponsive lifeguards. Just an injury waiting to happen with such poor customer service from American Pools, the subcontractors hired by the City of Atlanta Parks & Recreation. The entire staff particularly the Supervisor on that day ( August 7, 2019 between 1:00 and 3:00 pm) needs to be fired. And yes! I have contacted the department's CEO for a face to face meeting. Very concerning issues at Adams Park. Wish I had snapped photos but it wasn't safe. Such a lovely park and pool, too, if only the City would take the care of it that I've seen in other city run facilities like Candler Park and Piedmont Park.
Very fun I had a great experience with my friends there
I only went by the lake...it was beautiful but the water needs cleaning
