What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but predominantly negative picture of the swim school. Positive feedback highlights specific instructors (Lucas, Aiden) who are praised for their patience, kindness, and effectiveness in teaching, leading to noticeable progress and peace of mind for some parents. However, several significant concerns are raised: one experienced swim instructor observed classes as a 'waste of time and money' due to minimal actual instruction and instructors engaging in non-teaching activities. Another parent reported an instructor becoming 'rough with kids,' leading to cancellation. The most severe complaint details a child being seriously injured (stabbed by a shard from an unsecured, tipping high-top table). In this incident, the owner was unresponsive for months, ignored attempts at communication, and the company's insurance later blamed the parent. The reviewer also noted a lack of first aid, poor customer service, and a perceived disregard for safety and accountability from the business owner.

My daughter absolutely loves swim classes! Instructor Lucas is amazing !he’s patient, kind, and always makes learning fun. We’ve seen so much progress and we’re very grateful for the excellent work he does!
I was a swim instructor and coach for over 20 years. Swimming for safety is always a priority for me. I encourage my three adult sons to enroll my grandchildren in swimming lessons from a young age. My 2 1/2 year granddaughter has been taking lessons for 3 months. The first month was ok but the last two have been horrible. I sat observing and could not believe what a waste of time and money these classes were. In a 30 minute class with 2-3 children, my granddaughter was actually assisted 3 minutes and 28 seconds. Another class they spent 15 minutes with water guns, talking/flirting to fellow employees, and waiting on the other swimmer to go to the restroom with her father. There was no improvement for the last two months. I highly recommend seeking classes elsewhere!
We love aqua Totts so much! Coach Aiden is amazing for my son and has taught him so much in a short amount of time! We have so much peace of mind knowing he is learning amazing skills for his lifetime
Let's say you own a business. This business caters to kids, teaching them to swim. A pretty noble path wouldn't you say? Let's also think you would have a simple risk assessment done for your business and the furniture you place in it. And if one of your young clients were hurt, while at your property, the noble thing to do would be to talk to the family, right? Well... not here. You see my child (4) was hurt. Not failing, getting a scrape or bruise, no. Being stabbed... by a shard of one of those high top tables. You see they're top heavy, and not secured to the concrete floor. So when my 4 year old slipped off the stool, he had a hand on the edge of the high top, and it tipped. I was able to deflect it, but it still crashed to the ground, shattering the edge of the top, and a shard piercing my child in the leg. My child let out a blood curdling scream, one I won't soon forget. I was able to control the bleed, I carry medical with me. I was stopped at the door by a member of staff as I tried to leave for the ER, "Can you sign this accident form?", of course I had no time for that. 8 hours later, and six stitches later we were home. Now for the next two months I tried to reach the owner, who had no interest in speaking to me. I tried at first to go through the manager, I reached out to the owners other locations, left messages for her son, husband, anyone. Nothing. I involved an injury attorney... whom they ignored another few months, before a letter intending action was issued. They finally got their insurance involved. Who is of course saying Aqua Tots has a witness that this was my fault, and there was other seating available. Not the fact they have heavy furniture that can tip easily. I have pretty decent insurance. This didn't hit me that hard. I keep medical with me, this place offered no help, might not even have first aid, or training. This review is a warning. You are taking a risk bringing your child here. If something occurs, they will blame you, and they won't offer any help to your kid. And heaven forbid you have to hear your child scream as I did mine. Posting a few pictures from our day in September 2023. The table and the wound (removed picture of wound) By the way, all I wanted from Aqua Tots was two things. Spend 40$ in hardware to secure your top heavy tables to the cement floor. Pay my 680$ out of pocket. Plus the additional 94$, another bill. (Correction: They paid 180$ Zelle... ) No, too much for them. They really do not care... Well, at least the manager sent one message of concern about my child. The owner doesn't care. Be warned. Update: To the owners. It's March 25th 2024. I'm sharing my story, to any parent I meet, even if they don't mention a swim school. Guess what, they are horrified by your handling of this... some have even been to you school, trying it out, they were on the fence about joining... they didn't seem to want to return after hearing my story. You allowed a child to be injured, because of your incompetence of running a simple risk assessment of your property. You blamed the parent. I'm going to keep sharing my story, you're a danger to children.
I honestly enrolled my son thinking this was going to help him since he loves water 💦 Before do so I talked to the staff letting them know that he sometimes gets tantrum and gets little upset he is a 3 years old toddler. Response from the staff don’t worry this is what we do and we are trained to handle any kind of situation with kids perfect. Everything was going well until the last 2 seasons I noticed instructor was getting rough with kids and I was like ok maybe is a way for them to listen. However last time my son was there I didn’t like the way instructor handle things. I was very disappointed ☹️ and ended up canceling.
