State-of-the-art aquatic facility with an Olympic-sized competition pool, a seasonal outdoor leisure pool, and an instructional pool.
The indoor competition pool is typically maintained at a temperature between 78-80°F. The indoor instructional pool, designed for warmer water activities, is generally kept at 88-90°F. The seasonal outdoor leisure pool is unheated, and its temperature varies with ambient weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The aquatic center is generally viewed as a good place for families to cool off in the summer, offering a nice lazy river (though it can get crowded), a slide, clean bathrooms, and efficient ticketing. Many appreciate the courteous staff and lifeguards, good pricing, and ample parking and shade. However, significant concerns were raised regarding safety, particularly lifeguard blind spots and insufficient staffing, as well as dangerously strong chemicals in the indoor pool that caused adverse reactions for multiple patrons. Management faced criticism for miscommunication, such as changing rules for group events, and for inefficiency in service. Maintenance issues included non-functional lazy river jets, scalding hot showers, and damaged shower curtains. Some visitors also reported issues with rude patrons and unsanitary behavior, leading several to state they would not return or would rethink future bookings.

Nice place to cool off in the summer with kids, 4'8 height requirement to use the slide, lazy river is nice but sometimes it gets crowded, the bathroom is clean, ticketing is a breeze, they take cash and credit card. The staffs and lifeguards are amazing and courteous. Overall a great family hangout, nice price too.Tons of parking, tons of shade.
My family enjoys the outdoor pool in the summer. My review is due to the blind spots from the lifeguards' vantage points as well as some of the lifeguards' lack of attention to the pool on the party side of the lazy river. There also should not be 1 lifeguard for the bottom of the slide, lazy river, and deck. It doesn't follow the 10/20 rule.
I was there with our Girl Scout troop. We rented the whole facility for two hours from 7-9p.m. We have done this four years in a row. We have been allowed floats in the pool every year. We also asked if there had been any changes to the rules a month before the event. This year we were not allowed floats. Some of the girls brought floats instead of there life jackets. It was kind of a big deal when trying to entertain 24 little girls. On top of all of that, the jets for the lazy river were not working properly. They had us get out of the water and go to the inside pool an hour after we arrived. Due to thunder. That would have been fine but the chemicals in the indoor pool were so strong that several people had pretty bad reactions. ( burning eyes and faces) The girls work really hard for four months out of the year selling cookies in order to afford their celebration to be held at the aquatic center. I have a feeling we will be rethinking next year's event.
I won't be back. It's not worth the time. I went a week ago. It was a nice calm morning, and then 200 kids showed up. The kids didn't bother me. It is great to see them having a good time. The lady with 5 or 6 kids who rudely barged in and took over several chairs in the shade was a negative. Then, later, I watched a kid wipe her snooty nose in the water, that's when I left. I went inside to wash off the sunblock. I couldn't get the shower to be less than scaldingly hot. Y'all are going to burn someone's kid. And what is the story with the shower curtains? Old, damaged, inadequate, barely covering the shower stall, give me a break, buy some shower curtains. This morning, I stood around like a rock, while some lady got a pass for herself and her kid, and a day pass for her sister. I finally left. I just wanted to pay for a daily admission and change my clothes. The place is inefficient and unaware. Thanks for nothing.
Treated the Girl Scouts troop that came to celebrate their cookie celebration poorly. Was told we could bring floats, but got there and was told we couldn’t. An hour into the event, we were directed to go inside for the rest of the time due to lightening/thunder. All the adults and children who got into their indoor pool ended up having burning eyes and faces due to so many chemicals in the water. A lot of them, debating on having to go to urgent care due to it. I wouldn’t blame them if the leaders of the Girl Scout troops decide to not book anymore events here due to all the miscommunication and lack of sympathy.
