What are people saying (AI review summary)? Mountain Park Aquatic Center is largely praised as a clean, spacious, and family-friendly facility, particularly enjoyable for children due to its outdoor leisure pool, slides, and lazy river. Reviewers consistently highlight the attentive and friendly lifeguards and staff, contributing to a safe and pleasant experience. It's considered affordable, offers discounts for seniors, and allows coolers, though seating can be limited, suggesting visitors bring their own chairs or arrive early for tables. However, common issues include strict swimwear rules that can cause entry delays, occasional crowding in the outdoor pool, and unreliable payment systems (Amex not accepted, frequent card declines at checkout and vending machines). Other minor points raised include slides being closed for seemingly minor weather, confusing rules for the indoor pool, a need for deep cleaning in the women's room, and a desire for longer pool hours. Despite these drawbacks, most reviewers express a strong intent to return.

Had a great time at Mountain Park Aquatic Center during my recent Saturday visit. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The indoor lap pool was perfect for swimming, and the outdoor leisure pool—with its slides and lazy river—was a big hit with the kids. The lifeguards were very attentive and friendly, which made us feel safe. One thing to note: they are strict about swimwear rules. A staff member checks swim attire at the entrance, and only after approval are you allowed inside. We had to wait in line for about 5 minutes for this check, so be sure to wear proper swimwear to avoid delays. Also, the outdoor pool became a bit crowded in the afternoon, so arriving early is a good idea if you prefer a quieter experience. However, I did encounter some inconvenience with their payment systems. Although most cards are accepted, American Express (Amex) is not, and there were occasional issues processing other cards as well. The vending machines also repeatedly showed ‘declined’ errors, even when using valid cards. Improving the reliability of their payment systems would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a fun, family-friendly place to spend a summer day. I’d definitely visit again!
Good place to have fun. It has 2 slides, but I don't recommend it. The first time I went, they closed it because there was a light rain that lasted about 8 minutes. They didn't want to open it because there was supposedly thunder (a lie). It was sunny.
Enjoyed the parent assist lessons. Wish the pool hours were longer. The women’s room could use a deep cleaning. The instructors are all very nice!
What a nice little place to bring the kids. We paid $29 dollars. We had our two grandsons with us. Adults over 49 get a discount. You're able to bring a cooler. Space is limited. Bring a chair if you don't want to sit on the cement. Or go early to get one of the tables with an umbrellas. This place is for kids under 14, I would say. They have 2 slides. One is a red. It's a dark tunnel that is a bit harder when you go down. The blue is fast. Was fun. Not bad at all. Kids under 5, I don't suggest going on. The kid area has little had 2 kids slides. Like at a park. But in water. The pool area is not deep at all. My grandson loved it. He is 4 There is also the lazy river. It's pushed you around the pool, which is circular. Wasn't too deep. Maybe 3.5 feet. Adults' supervision is a must. Staff was very friendly. Lots of lifeguards there. I give the place 5 stars. Affordable. Clean and friendly.
An enjoyable experience. Though the outdoor pool is clearly pointed more towards children, it is still fun to swim around, and the slide is very fun. Indoor pool is a little confusing on the rules and how they allow swimming but nevertheless. Will return soon. Due note there are no chairs and limited seating outside. So best to bring your own
