Both my children took classes at big blue swim school. The facility is clean, new and updated. The changing rooms are private and always clean. They do rotate instructors often, but they all seem to be trained in the same techniques. Children are instructed in groups of 3 to 4 kids, depending on the age. My son who is pretty typically developing four year-old was able to learn quickly and from March to September became independent at swimming. He started not being able to go into the water and learn to float on his back and swim about 10 feet independently. Although I’ll probably still use a floaty with him in a large. My daughter, who was eight improved some of her techniques and gained confidence. This past summer, I was confident with her swimming in the pool independently. The website is updated. They take payments out electronically. If you have any issues, you can text or email and they’ll get back to within 24 hours. The only reason we stopped was due to conflict of other activities. It was too expensive to continue the classes. I would recommend this place to other others. Prior my daughter took classes at the British swim school, which uses hotels. They were nice, but it was less convenient for us. This was right in our community. The prices are similar to other swim schools. The inside of the facility is bright and clean and parents can watch from the outside or sit in the pool area.

Have been coming here for over 3 months now for a 6Yr and 4yr old. Kids really enjoy coming to classes. The instructors and staff are great. They do a review of kids progress every other class or so and give constructive feedback. The facility is very clean and well maintenance.

Big Blue Columbia is a perfect place for your kids. Respectful and dedicated staffs are making the process easy. My son stares couple of months ago but amazingly he is mastering all the major styles(free style and butter ) The amount I am paying is minimal as compared to other facilities. You might have a tight schedule and miss classes do not worry they are helping you with rescheduling. Thank you Big Blue.

I had been searching for a swim school for a while now but every place was booked with a huge waiting list. Big blue made it super easy to schedule lessons for both my kids and they advanced to tougher lessons within just 3 months. I would highly recommend the swim school. The teachers are great and the owners take great pride in maintaining a clean & welcoming environment.

Fantastic Experience at Big Blue Swim School! We’ve had such a positive experience at Swim School! The instructors are warm, patient, and truly skilled at working with kids.They make learning to swim fun while still prioritizing safety and technique. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and scheduling is super convenient through their app. My child has grown so much in confidence and ability since starting here, he looks forward to every lesson! The staff is friendly and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely care about each child’s progress.
