What are people saying (AI review summary)? This swimming facility is highly praised for accommodating swimmers of all levels, featuring both a shallow, accessible leisure area and lap lanes. Reviewers consistently highlight the cleanliness of the pools, locker rooms, and changing areas, with the water never looking 'suspect'. Many appreciate often having a lane to themselves, even in the deep end. The staff, including lifeguards and instructors, are described as friendly, kind, and patient. While one reviewer noted a cost compared to free DC pools, they still deemed it worth it. Minor downsides mentioned include less powerful jets in the large hot tub and showers needing updating. Overall, it's highly recommended as an excellent and well-maintained facility, particularly for Annapolis residents.

This place is great for swimmers of all levels. There is a shallow, accessible pool connected to the larger pool, allowing folks who are less mobile to enter and choose between the « leisure » area or the lap area (with swim lanes) just beyond it. The folks who work there and the visitors are friendly and kind. The leisure area and at least part of the lap area nearest it are shallow enough to do pool walking and aerobics—the water is chest-high then shoulder high.
I hate that I have to pay to use this place when DC pools are free, but it is worth it. Always clean, and the water never looks suspect. I have gotten my own lane all five times I've been so far. The hot tub is really big, although the jets are not very powerful.
I swim here 3 times a week. Usually have a lane to myself in the deep end. Great pool. Showers need updating. Friendly staff and life guards. Annapolis residents are fortunate to have access to this facility.
My experience has always been good with AOSC, they have nice clean changing rooms, working showers, and many lanes to choose from based on your comfortability in the water. Excellent pool, would highly recommend to any swimmers.
The pool was really nice. Lifeguards were on duty. There were several people swimming in the lanes, and there were several classes being taught. The instructors were very patient with the kids. We brought three different bus loads. The locker rooms were clean.
