Heated, 25-meter, indoor pool (sometimes a bit too much), with shallow and deep ends for lessons and lap swims.
The pools at the City of Longmont Centennial Swimming Pool are heated for patron comfort. While specific daily temperatures are not consistently published, public outdoor pools like this are generally maintained within a comfortable range, typically between 78-86°F (25.5-30°C), with lap pools often slightly cooler than leisure pools.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are mixed. Positives include a highly-praised, clean, indoor pool, considered the best in town, with friendly staff, cool water for exercise, and ample supplies (fins, kickboards). Masters swimming classes are available and recommended. The gym, though small, is clean and offers a decent workout. However, significant concerns were raised regarding a lack of clear communication and transparency about rule changes (e.g., children's swimming hours), leading to frustration and a feeling of being 'gaslighted' by staff. The facility is also criticized for needing updates and for not being adequately handicap accessible, particularly in the women's restroom and entryways.

My son and I were going here Mondays and Wednesdays this last Monday when we try to go swimming in the front desk said that children are no longer allowed to swim during the day when I asked when this happened, he stated that it's been like this for months. I told him we've been swimming here since then. He gaslighted me and said that's not the case.I went on to the website to try to find information and all it said is kids 18 and under no swiming Monday and Wednesday till 4 and limited day hours on Tuesday Thursday and Friday. So I'm paying for a facility we can't really use( we're going to try to make it work since we payed for a year) I wouldn't be as upset if somebody would have given me an explanation of why kids are no longer allowed to swim. Like if there's not enough life guards or too many classes going on but that all I got was he's not allowed to swim anymore on Mondays and Wednesdays and part of Tuesday Thursdays and Fridays.
Needs to be updated. Needs to be made handicap available. in the women's restaurant. Getting inside the doors and I'm sure other places. It is not up to standards for handicap.
They have master classes in the morning at 6:00 a.m.... Free with the cost of entrance to the facility
It's older but a good, clean facility. Gym is small and but you can have a decent workout. Pool is the main feature: indoors, heated (sometimes a bit too much). Not sure the distance yards vs meters, but it's 25 m/y. Has a deep end for treading and a shallow area they use for swim lessons.
This is the best pool in town. The staff are quite friendly and the pool deck is always clean. The water is nice and cool which is healthy for exercising. There are plenty of supplies including fins, kickboards, and pull buoys to borrow. Masters swimming here during the non-summer months is a great way to stay fit and meet a bunch of great folks.
