Water park with 3 pools, lap lanes and slides, plus a grassy area, trees and chairs.
The 50-meter lap pool at Scott Carpenter Pool is generally heated to a comfortable 78-80°F (25.5-26.7°C). The leisure pool and diving well are often maintained at slightly warmer temperatures, typically ranging from 82-84°F (27.8-28.9°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool is highly praised for its extensive amenities, which include multiple waterslides, a long lazy river, various diving boards and platforms, a shallow play area for children, and a basketball hoop. It effectively caters to both families and serious swimmers, offering well-organized lanes, often divided by ability, that are appreciated by lap swimmers and those training. The staff and lifeguards are frequently commended for being kind, professional, and well-trained. While many find the pricing to be a good value, a major recurring complaint is the severe lack of adequate parking, with visitors often struggling to find spots or having to park far away. The leisure pool can also get busy.

The pool has so much fun things like 3 different water slides and also a high dive plus just a regular diving board. The lazy river is way longer than other ones I usually see. There is a basketball hoop in one section of the lap pool and all of this for only seven dollars for kids and old think 13 for adults. Great price for a fun pool
No parking. We’ve had a terrible experience with parking all three times we’ve tried to visit this pool. There aren’t enough spots to serve the pool and our mini van also doesn’t fit in the spaces. I had to crawl to the back seat (very pregnant) to get out our sliding doors the one time we got a spot in the lot. Otherwise we pay to park 1/4 mile away. And no discounts for kids? Not a great model.
Our favorites were the lazy river, but they also have a diving board, a diving platform, a slide, and a shallow play area for little kids. There is a main pool that is open when the swim team isn’t there. There are shady areas on the grass too!
First of the leisure pool can be busy but what do you expect it the best pool in boulder. Second the staff and lifeguards or so kind and on top of the jobs, greatly trained by the leads and managers.
Absolutely love this pool! It’s incredible that there is such a nice facility that prioritizes lap swimmers and those training for events. So nice to be able to pay for a pool and know you won’t have to fight for lane space with aqua joggers and water aerobics. Dividing the lanes up by ability is very nice and pretty rare in the U.S. Everyone using the pool is very professional and has no issues sharing with athletes of similar ability.
