Shady, fenced area, featuring playground equipment and a splash pad with tipping buckets.
As a public splash pad, the water used is typically unheated municipal tap water. Therefore, specific pool temperature controls or measurements are not usually available, and the water temperature will fluctuate with ambient air and ground temperatures.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Blasdell splash pad and playground generally receive very positive reviews, being consistently praised for its cleanliness, excellent maintenance, and good supervision. Reviewers highlight its suitability for young children, specifically ages 3-10, and commend its accessibility, even for children using walkers, due to ample spacing. Popular features include dumping buckets and swings, and the area is noted as fenced. However, a point of recent disappointment for some neighborhood residents is the new requirement of a $4 fee or a residential card for entry, which was not previously in place.

Great place!!!! Fenced in area, so if your kid gets away it's your fault 😆
I so wish they had this splash pad when I was a kid growing up in Blasdell back in the 1980’s! The overall playground is much smaller than the massive JFK playground, but the splash pad make the trip to Silver Street well worth it. The pad is good sized, and the spacing between attractions is ample. Even if it gets busy, the pad isn’t so crowded that the kids are bumping into each other. The entire park from the surrounding grass to the actual cement pad is well maintained and clean. My son is 8, and had an absolute blast with the dumping buckets. Overall I would say that this local water park is best for kids between the ages of 3-10.
I was pleasantly surprised with the blasdell splash pad and the playground. My grandchildren are young and one Is handicapped. It was really fun for all. My granddaughter could walk around on her Walker without worrying. It was well supervised and very clean. Hats off to blasdell for a high quality splash pad & playground.
We were very disappointed when we arrived at the splash pad, only to be turned away cuz we didn't have $4 or a residential card. We've always come to this Splash pad, since we live in the neighborhood so it was disappointing to not be able to let the kids cool off.
Really nice neighborhood splash pad. My son loves the swings and splash pad.
