What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this YMCA are mixed, highlighting both positive and negative experiences. On the positive side, patrons appreciate the nice atmosphere, good hooping and workout gyms, and enjoyable pool area (though access can be challenging due to classes). Some staff are noted for being welcoming, and the facility is seen as suitable for special events. Historically, it has been a well-regarded place. However, significant concerns include poor management, a perceived lack of diverse activities for children beyond before/after school programs, and unhelpful staff (e.g., regarding sauna keys). More recent complaints point to a decline in quality, with the owner reportedly removing community organizations like City Swim Project and karate classes. Several reviews mention rude or unhelpful staff, with one particularly severe incident involving staff denying membership/tours and leaving children unsupervised in the gymnasium while taking a break. These issues have led some long-time members to discontinue their patronage and deter new visitors.

Nice people good place but poorly managed ....don't ever ask for a sauna key cause they don't have them, but have several ppl at the desk and can't help, used to go everyday but won't be returning again!!!!
Been going here since i was a kid , Very nice atmosphere , great hooping gym and good workout gym but lol you’d better be on your a game cleaning up after yourself in the gym cause the worker gonna be on your ass🤣🤣 but hey you do you , i recommend tho
I like going to special events here. I enjoy the pool area. It is hard to get in the pool at times because of certain classes. I think there needs to be more activities geared for children like the other YMCA's. Other than the before and after school programs. These activities should take place while parents attend other activities or exercises classes. Most staff are great at making you feel welcome. There are others I like to avoid.
I've been going to this ymca for a long time now. It has been great until recently for the past few months. Almost a year has been weird. The owner who owns the ymca has been kicking organizations like city swim project and karate master ketchens out of their classes. What's next? Gym class? Or basketball court? They need to do better and make ymca a better place where kids and adults can have a place to grow and learn.
The staff was rude and turned me and my 2 boys away. Would not allow me to sign up for a membership nor give me a tour of the facility overall Terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Nor would I want anyone of the current staff watching over children all kids were left unsupervised In the gymnasium while staff decided to take a smoke break.
