We've been taking swim lessons at the tadpole level for the past month and we love it! The swim staff is amazing and they work to make us and our 7 month old feel so comfortable. As a mom I appreciate how they incorporate swim safety skills within each class, tell us why we're building these skills, and sing nursery rhyme songs to make lessons so fun! Our first lesson, the staff & other parents made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The pool is heated which we appreciate! The facility is beautiful and there are locker rooms with benches, lockers and showers. (Parents- It's super common and helpful to have a spouse, friend, grandparent or family member with you because changing a wiggly wet baby and then trying to change yourself after class is super challenging!) All in all, we absolutely love swim lessons here and look forward to taking class each week! It's been amazing to see our baby build a comfortable relationship with the water in such a short time!
I'm so glad I signed my son up to British Swim School. This swim school is really good especially if kids are nervous or afraid of water like my son is. The instructors are so nice and have a lot of patience and are very understanding. I also like the small group sizes which make it so much better to focus on the kids individual needs. I highly recommend this swim school.
We are so incredibly grateful for British Swim School and especially for Coach Ellen. From the very beginning, it was clear that this is more than just a swim program — it’s a place where every child is truly valued and supported. What sets British Swim School apart is the one-on-one attention and genuine care that Coach Ellen gives my son. She takes the time to understand his personality, comfort level, and how he learns best. Her patience, encouragement, and calm, positive energy have helped him grow not only as a swimmer but also in his confidence overall. Every week, I watch him become more comfortable and capable in the water, and it brings me so much joy to see how proud he is of himself! The progress he’s made under Coach Ellen’s guidance has been amazing — and just as important, he’s having fun every step of the way. A big thank you to British Swim School and Coach Ellen and Joe for creating such a warm, supportive, and safe learning environment. Your care and dedication mean the world to Wolfie and the Schmitt family!
This is an amazing program. My son has a great big smile on his face throughout the whole class and he has become a really skilled swimmer, improving every week. One thing that really sets the program apart is the focus on form and strokes once the kids progress through the first few levels. And the first few levels are all about safety and being comforatable in the water which was also essential. I am so really like that they are hands on which helps different types of learning styles. The owner and lead teacher is a primary school occupational therapist and it shows. She is exceptional.
These swim classes are the best compared to others we’ve tried. They teach my child pool safety, different swim techniques, and take the time to make connections with the kids. I’m confident my child will be swimming in no time and highly recommend them!
