Patrons frequently report dirty restrooms, changing areas, and lockers, often lacking basic necessities like paper towels, adequate lighting, or sufficient water pressure for rinsing. Safety is a major issue, with multiple accounts of frequent fights, the presence of a taser gun, loud music, and drug use in parking areas, leading to frustration over irresponsible behavior. Lifeguards are criticized for being difficult and arbitrarily closing the pool early. However, one review specifically praises 'Centennial Pool' for being 'much cleaner' than 'Riverside's bathrooms/changing room,' suggesting a preference for Centennial due to its better conditions. Despite the prevalent problems, some visitors continue to attend due to convenience or their children's enjoyment.

I like going to this pool. Bringing my kids and grandkids here is always fun. But they really need to do something with the restrooms and changing areas. It's never clean or has any paper towels...nothing. they have lockers but we were told that we have to bring our own lock. I saw a big guy or kid looking through lockers and checking to see if there were people's belongings inside. Also the fights are getting worse. I now stay in the sprinkler area.
I saw one black girl with taser gun inside the park. There were hundreds of little kids playing and that group of three girl had a taser gun in hand, playing loud music and all. Beautiful places get destroyed by people of choice not anything else. Now I get it why buffalo city don’t have good parks or recreational facilities including pools. Because of city irresponsible people, ohh some people were smoking weed at parking lot also. What’s wrong with this people?
Very disappointing here. 7 times out of 10 there is a fight going on. The lifeguards are difficult closing the pool at 630 instead of 7. Also just closing the pool for no reason at all. Unfortunately this is the closest pool to me so my kids like to come a lot
Soooo much cleaner than Riverside's bathrooms/changing room. It literally stinks so bad in there. We only go to Centennial Pool now!
The lockers are disgusting they don't clean the bathrooms there's no light and there's barely any water to rinse your body off Mayer your help please
