What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool offers a convenient and enjoyable experience for children, especially with its free access and nice splash pad. Lifeguards are generally praised for being attentive, professional, and ensuring safety. However, several significant issues are highlighted: the pool frequently closes a half-hour or more before its official closing time, and the operating hours (e.g., 2-7 PM) are considered too limited, with a request for earlier opening and dedicated senior swim times. The public washrooms are described as "unbearably horrendous" due to poor cleanliness, including unsanitary conditions like blood on walls, pads in toilets, and diapers on the floor, indicating a need for constant cleaning. Additionally, there are serious complaints about an older woman allegedly harassing children with insults and threats, with claims that lifeguards consistently side with her.

I don't come here much myself, but it's the perfect spot for my kids to go and have fun and cool off on the hotter days.. drop them off with a bunch of friends and they all have a blast. I'm glad they've made the outdoor public pools in this city free, makes access so much easier for families with multiple children.
An older lady sits around the pool area or in pool harassing children. Calling them fat. Swearing at them. Threatening to have them removed because she has a family member that works there. You should be very proud of yourself!! The young man you called 'fat' to, is already dealing with more then his fair share. Life guards ALWAYS side with her.
Since when does the pool close down a half hour before closing. They have never closed a half hour or more before closing. This is the first year. I get it if you don't wanna stay after 7 to make sure the pool area is clean but if pool is suppose to be up till 7 you keep it open till 7
Very convenient, and very busy, but if all you want to do is cool off and float its really good. Only negative is the opening times. 2-7 is ridiculous, totally ridiculous. Today Saturday, sun is shining, its hot but again pool closed until 2. And why is there no senior swim at least one hour a day?. Seniors pay taxes too. Life guards are wonderful, really attentive, professional and make you feel very safe. But please next year an hour a day for seniors and an opening time of 12 please.
Attentive lifeguards, nice splash pad. Beware the unbearably hourendous public washrooms, high traffic needs constant cleaning. Last time I went blood on the wall, pads in the toilet, diapers on the floor . Animals
