Kim and Faith are the best! I have 2 daughters, one that is a fish and loves to swim and one that does not. Kim has helped prepare my oldest in treading water and the strokes needed for the next stage or swim team. Faith has helped my youngest get comfortable in the water and be confident in her skills. I’m so grateful for their patience, compassion and care!!! Highly recommend them and will keep coming back year after year.
We did swim lessons once a week 30 mins for 2 to 3 months during the winter/spring every year for the past 4 years and my son has loved it every year. Each year he has grown in his skills and confidence which he demonstrates throughout the summers. Last summer he swam around like a fish (in the shallow end). This year age 4 he finally can get into a back float with zero assistance. My son does better when someone that’s not me tries to teach him something. I am so pleased with the results. The coaches have always been so amazing.
Over the 3 years that Ozzy has had swim lessons with LowCountry Swim, he has gone from a screaming toddler who was scared to get off the steps to a 4 year old confidently doing backstroke across the entire deep end, jumping off the diving board, floating easily on his back and skillfully diving to the bottom to retrieve items. He has had Wendy, Lynn and Erin as his instructors over the years and loved all of them. They were all incredibly patient with our shy boy and ensured that he had so much fun that he always looked forward to his lessons. No one at our pool can believe he is 4 years old and swimming with such skill and confidence. As a parent, I was thrilled with the focus on safety so I know that my son will make good choices and act appropriately when we are around water. We definitely made the right choice with LCSS and would recommend them to anyone looking for a safety focused, skill based FUN place for your children to learn to swim.
We absolutely love our swim classes with Kelsie. She is so wonderful with my son and he always has a smile on his face ready and has so much fun during his lessons. His love for water has grown tremendously and he is now confident in the water. Kelsie does an amazing job teaching him and working on his progress. She always provides us a recap on what they did and what they will work on next. We could not be happier.
My special needs son has been taking an adaptive swimming class here for a couple of years now. Ms. Lynn and the staff are always patient and understanding while taking their time teaching him new skills to his understanding being that he is non-verbal. He takes this class as his weekly activity, and it assist with improving his confidence and gross motor skills. The team at LCSS is wonderful. I will always remember a young instructor who was not working with him assisted in trying to help him relax when the pool was busy with other swimmers that day, because it brought a smile to his face. Thank you for always being so kind LCSS.
