A fair amount of wooded trails to explore if you have a short afternoon and want to get some forest time, but don't want to leave town. Pavilions and fields are nice, too. We have had our church picnic here the last couple years. Altogether a nice, expansive county park.
This park is beautiful! Its family friendly and very clean, complete with water park and kiddie pools, shelters and more...very 🙂
It’s such a beautiful park and I just recently started taking both of my pups who have never been to the dog park and they LOVE it so much. They have made so many new friends p.s-I’m sorry to those who they have used as a towel after playing in the water, or those who they upset playing in the water bowls.
We had a reunion it was great. Our shelter had an inside prep center and sink. It worked out wonderful.
What a wonderful park! It does cost $2 per person to get in, but it's worth it. There are lots of paved walking trails as well as sand trails. All the trails are clearly marked, and there are park maps everywhere. They offer a splash pad, dog park, many pavilions that you can rent, bike rental, and paddleboat rentals!
