This is only for property owners and their guests. Very nice pool. Direct beach access. The Grill is very nice, a bit pricey, but considering the location, not bad. They also have a gym, a library, and a great veranda facing the ocean. My brother got married there overlooking the ocean. You can sit on the veranda in rocking chairs and just enjoy the view.

For families staying in the nearby villas, The Sandcastle is a beautiful area for portrait sessions such as families, high-school seniors, engagement photos on Kiawah Island. There are tons of great backdrops offering a wide variety of images. The beach and access points are also really picturesque. As a full-time professional photographer, I highly recommend this area!

The inconsistency with rules and ever changing policies makes this place impossible to enjoy. What a waste of a resource for Kiawah property owners. Don’t waste your time and get a Governors Club membership instead.

Is a very nice pool and bar area with a small workout area inside the building. However, our family has had many problems getting into the Sandcastle to enjoy the amenities. This is not a new problem as there has been difficulty for many years with some success. With the recent changes in who can enter the Sandcastle this has only furthermore, infuriated us a family.
