I am really proud of the city of Nitro for their parks and pool. The pool and surrounding areas are always clean, well maintained, and sufficiently staffed. I enjoy taking my grandchildren for an afternoon of fun at the pool.

Indoor Pickle Ball Courts! Brand new Athletic Complex! Great for Nitro! Large Outdoor Pool right beside the space. Close to the Interstate 64 and local eateries like Katherine’s Cafe for 21 & above!

Visiited for first time on August 5.. arrived at 11 and left at 6. It was the perfect and I soloed . Pool loungers is what I have seen at expensive condo not a public pool.. tje visit exceeds my expectations. I will be there every this season until pool closes.

The first rule is "proper swim attire". Yet they allow young girls to wear thongs?! This is extremely inappropriate and there needs to be a more strict rule for this! I'm not taking my children to a family pool where this kind of stuff is allowed. Do better! 😡

We were here today with my husband and oldest daughter last week we were here and I was rudely told to leave or cover baby up while breast feeding them today we gave them another try well that was our mistake we were trying to teach our oldest how to swim and she was panicking and before long nitro police called us out of the pool because the park wanted us to leave for foul language excuse me there was t even anyone near us so don't know where that came from but okay you want to "enforce" one rule but not others like women wearing thing bikini or people vaping hmmm yeah think not will never return we will drive to hurricane wave pool next time this place sucks I'd give zero stars if I could
