British Swim School is outstanding. If you are looking for a program that will teach your kids to be safe in the water, this is it. My daughter has been in classes for a year. At 3, she leaps into the pool (she loves trying to touch the bottom) before popping to the surface and flipping over to float or practice elementary backstroke--a long way from the baby water acclimation class she started in last year! All of the coaches are fantastic with kids--encouraging, fun, and extremely attentive. I particularly recommend Coach Bane! This location is very convenient, with free parking in the building. The pool is a bit chillier than other locations, so kids are more comfortable in traditional swimsuits than in long-sleeved styles.

Excellent lessons for kids. The instructors are great, very patient, and kind. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. There is a good choice of locations, and Lakeview has been easy to get to and not complicated to get in and out (as a non-club member). It is good value for the cost, and the sibling discount is appreciated.

I was unsure of the new swim student process prior to arrival but staff came up to us as soon as we entered the pool (3rd floor of FFC). My 7 and 3 year old started with a swim test. All instructors were friendly and great with the kids. They were assigned levels and goals and provided us with swim caps. We wIll return. After almost 6 months of lessons, my 7 yo advanced 1 level and is comfortable in the water without floaties. My 3 year old has not developed at all. He seems to be more afraid of the water now, and asks not to go to class. We are going to take the summer off but I'm not sure if we will return.
