What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives commendation for its cleanliness, good music, and amenities such as a water slide and diving board, making it a popular spot, particularly for children. However, a recurring and significant complaint concerns the lifeguards, who are described as overly strict, 'whistle crazy,' and inconsistent in enforcing rules, especially regarding slide height, which causes frustration for families. The pool can also get very crowded, especially on weekends, often lacking sufficient seating and shade. Other minor issues include a small parking lot and occasional vending machine malfunctions.

It’s a very clean and well kept little pool but the lifeguards act like prison guards. All your kids can do is stand in the pool. NO FUN allowed when some of these lifeguards are on watch. The lifeguards are whistle crazy. A lifeguard blew the whistle becuase one kid was walking too fast on concrete. I understand they want people to be safe but it’s very extreme here. Between the yelling and whistles going off every 2 minutes, it got to us after a while and had to leave. Don’t bother trying to go down the little slide they have there because most of the life guards dont know how to use a measuring stick. You need to be 48 inches to go down the slide. One of my boys is slightly over 48 inches and the other is 50 inches. One life guard would let them both go down, the next lifeguard would only let one of my boys down, the next life guard doesn’t let any of them go down. One of the life guards told us my tallest boy was 4 inches short of the 48 inch mark so i guess he magically shrunk 6 inches between lifeguards. So you can only imagine the frustration of my children after a while of this.
Really nice pool and they play fire music as well, you have to get there pretty early though or else it is packed. The life guards actually do their jobs for the most part and there is a break every hour for adults. Nice water slide for adults and young kids plus a diving board. The only negative thing is there isn’t enough seating or shade
Pro's decent sized pool, amazing for children, nice service the worker's have always been kind, has a diving board, has dipin dots with vending machines, cons the ice cream vending machine breaks a lot, crowded on the weekends because of popularity, small parking lot
Windy City Mermaids love this pool!
They play good music most of the time. Bathrooms, changing rooms, and decks are always clean. We love it here!
