The Elmwood Park Aquatic Center, located at 2 Conti Pkwy, Elmwood Park, IL, is a seasonal outdoor water park offering a variety of attractions. It features a zero-depth entry pool with interactive play features, two water slides (body and drop), a climbing wall, 25-yard lap lanes, and diving boards, providing a comprehensive recreational experience for visitors.
Specific pool temperatures for the Elmwood Park Aquatic Center are not consistently published on official channels. Like most public outdoor aquatic facilities, the water temperature is generally maintained for comfort, often falling within the 80-84°F (27-29°C) range, though this can vary with external conditions and heating systems.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed picture, primarily divided by residency. Non-residents, even those living nearby or in the same zip code, frequently express strong frustration and feel unwelcome due to strict entry policies that often require a resident escort, despite receiving invitations or seeing non-resident pricing. This has led many to seek alternative facilities. Conversely, residents and participants in specific programs like aquatic zumba (which did not require residency) generally praise the pool for being clean, well-maintained, having warm water, and being a relaxing environment with pleasant staff, though one supervisor was specifically noted for unprofessional behavior.

If you do not live in Elmwood do not go there. They are not open, not inviting, and the residents are even worse. I took my toddler there to swim and because I lived 10 min away with a Chicago address they wouldn't let me in. They have nonresident pricing but only if you go with a resident. I looked online and never saw this was a resident only place. The few we asked that were there if we could go in with them shunned us. Glad I didn't give my money to them. I thought we were past this kind of thing in 2025... I'd give 0/5 if I could.
The pool is clean and well-maintained, and the receptionist at the entrance is very pleasant. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding the supervisor of the pool, the man with the mustache. His behavior and attitude are unprofessional, and if it were up to me, I would not keep him in this position.
Over the course of 4 years I receive misleading mailings, inviting us to go to the Aquatic Center. I am in the same zip code. Every time I go there to the Aquatic center, they are not welcoming to Residents who don't technically have the city Elmwood park. Why do we receive mailings for places who do not welcome us? I'm advised to ask a local resident who's approaching the Aquatic center, to let us in with them. This is incredibly ridiculous! Don't invite your neighbors if they are not welcome! Franklin Park pool, here we come. they will get our business.
Went today for an aquatic zumba class, pool was really nice and clean, water was warm-ish. This zumba class did not require us to be residents and anyone could join. I called in advance to confirm. Overall great experience, will be back.
