What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Highland Park Aqua Park generally receives positive feedback, frequently praised for its exceptional cleanliness, exciting slides (including a unique straight-down option), and a fun splash pad and diving board. Many reviewers highlight the heated pool and activities suitable for all ages, along with friendly staff and a positive atmosphere. Management is considered solid, and some find the concessions good, despite criticisms from others. The park is often recommended as a great, fun public pool, even better than some private alternatives, with convenient features like selling sunscreen and a value deal for soda. However, recurring criticisms include inconsistent lifeguard attentiveness, with some observed dancing and music occasionally deemed inappropriate for younger children. The concession stand food is a point of contention, frequently described as overpriced and greasy by several, though one reviewer found it good. Other significant negatives raised include a strict rule against goggles, reports of "mean people" by one visitor, and limited lap swimming availability.

I went to the Highland Park Aqua Park for the first time and it was amazing!! They had so much they had two slides. One of the slides went around a really cool loop and it was a chill slide. Another slide went straight down and into the water!!! It was the first slide I went on like that and it was really cool and also believe it or not that pool was the first time I went off the diving board!!!! It was so fun and I didn’t get bullied. It was so nice. The pool was extremely clean everybody there was so nice and chill And Honestly, it should be open all year round because the pool was the best and it was also such a clean place and there was such a cool splash pad and it also had a deal where you could have soda bottle for $20 and use it for the rest of the year!!! It was probably one of the best public pools I went to and everything was so clean and nice and it was even better than one of the private pools I go to. I definitely recommend it.
We love this waterpark because it’s close to home. The music is a little annoying for us. We have younger kids and the music is sometimes inappropriate for them. Most of the time the lifeguards are not really paying attention to the kids because they are dancing. But one time we were there and a kid had an issue and the lifeguards seem to have acted pretty quickly. So maybe they are actually paying attention… Who knows? The food at the concession stand is not great it’s your typical overpriced concession stand greasy food. But you can bring your own sandwiches. And you should definitely bring water. In the concession stand they will sell you sunscreen if you have forgotten yours. They also have goggles and stuff like that. Please don’t run! But enjoy yourself it’s a great, fun place!
We were sad that it didn't get to 95° like we hear the weather was supposed to, but this place has a nicely heated pool with activities for children and adults of all ages. The slides! The splash park (that can be used by the youngins during adult swim)! Great staff and great patrons!
What the heck is going here??? They don't allow goggles and the food Sucks. Don't come here. Mean people too.
I like it, clean, Guards pretty on top of things , management is solid , concessions are good , seating is good , awesome slides. It's made for kids basically. The deep end has 1 lap available only but......it works. ✌️
