Portage Park Water Playground, located at 4100 N Long Ave, Chicago, IL 60641, USA, is a popular seasonal sprayground offering a variety of interactive water features. Designed primarily for children and families, it provides a fun and refreshing experience with jets, sprays, and other aquatic elements, typically open during warmer months as part of the larger Portage Park facilities.
As a sprayground or splash pad, Portage Park Water Playground typically uses unheated water for its interactive features. Specific temperature controls or consistent pool temperature data are generally not applicable or publicly available, as the water temperature fluctuates with ambient conditions and the municipal water supply, rather than being a temperature-controlled pool.

Amazing experience 🥰
Good swimming pools with slides for kid's
The water can be insanely cold, which is weird because it's for the little ones. But there are fun structures for them to play with. Please watch your child! It may not seem deep but kids can lack the motor skills or be too overwhelmed to simply sit up or right themselves in the water. It can be traumatizing for them, and that's no fun. So keep it fun over there! Also Wear only white cover ups Wear a swimwear not athletic gear Bring a lock to lock up your bags and leave the stroller in the car if possible Your baby needs swim diapers And only US COASTGAURD APPROVED vests are allowed The rules may seem excessive but if you follow them you'll have a more enjoyable experience. Getting into an argument with someone there won't change the rules and may ruin your day... I'm not sure who to complain to if you don't like it but in order for you to have a good visit currently you should follow those rules I listed and I'm sure there are more. Have fun!
