I have been a patron of the RecPlex fitness center for a number of years. There are 3 reasons I've been working out there for so long: 1)-Claudia /Front desk 2)-Doe/ Front desk 3)-prices Claudia- She is so delightful and her laugh is contagious. Her customer service is phenomenal. Doe- She has such a warm smile and one of the most polite ladies you will ever come across. These women are amazing and make my visits so much more enjoyable.

I have been working out for multiple years at rec , and was accused of taking pictures of kids swimming, because i was using my phone by the window looking down to the pool. The manger of the pool came up to me yelling accusing me and my friends, very unprofessional and I told them to check the camera and they said it does not matter and to not use ur phone by the window even though we are in a public place, I also told them they can check my phone and they said they do not care. and were extremely rude, horrible place. the lady told me she is probably having a bad day that is no reason for her to be acting like this and yelling in front of everyone, they should have more patience and know how to talk to customers and teenagers. I am very offended and feel sick because of this situation.

Good clean gym, it's never to crowded so wait time for equipment is very minimal. Locker room and showers are well maintained. Very nice pool for swimming laps as well as a kids pool. Indoor walking path is great for the winter months. Basketball ball courts available but I have not used them. Personal training programs are adorable with experiance trainers that design a workout plan just for you. They have plenty of group classes and many different membership types. Overall I'm very happy with my membership and Experience here unlike some other gyms I've been a member of. Definitely recommend you give it a try, day passes are available.

horrible staff, accusing me of taking pictures of kids for having a phone out upstiars in the gym. Everyone has there phones out while working out. I didn’t even have it out i was with my cousins talking. lady comes up very aggressively accusing us of doing that. I’m 18 young girl that doesn’t make sense for me to take pictures of little kids. I go downstairs to complain because i don’t take that lightly. the staff downstairs front desk is giving me attitude and talking very disrespectful with me because she said she doesn’t know me and who i am when i clearly have a gym membership there. and tells me are you even working out and that im not wearing workout cloths. she was acting super childish and so disrespectful. her name was becky works front desk.

We've fine a few of the kids' park district activities here. It's a nice facility.
