This place has a nice historical charm to it. Nice big pool. Parking is an issue as it is limited. They show some historical photos there of when it was a circle and looked like 4 slides and a fence to divide the deeper parts from the shallow parts. To be honest it looks cooler in the historical photos than what it is now. Still a nice pool. If you have a pool pass this place is less bang for your dollar as flick park has more and Glenview charges more for flick so if you want to get the most from your pool pass you are better to go to flick park. Would be nice if there was a hot tub.

This swimming pool is Perfect for families, the facility features a large main swimming pool complete with gentle, shallow areas ideal for toddlers and young children. For those seeking exercise, a dedicated lap swimming pool is available, conveniently connected to the waterslide (toboggan) landing zone for seamless fun. I highly recommend this spot for families with little ones. Refuel at the casual "grill" concession stand offering tasty snacks and meals. The pool has excellent facilities, including clean and spacious changing rooms, restrooms, and showers for your convenience. Admission fees (as of June 2025): $11 for residents, $15 for non-residents.

Roosevelt Pool has really gone downhill, in my mind because of one manager, Casey. She’s rude, unhelpful, and treats both guests and staff with a bad attitude. If you ask a question, expect sarcasm or to be ignored completely. The lifeguards seem miserable, which isn’t surprising since Casey constantly talks down to them in front of people. It’s uncomfortable to watch and creates a tense, unwelcoming vibe for everyone. The pool itself is fine, but everything feels disorganized and neglected: dirty bathrooms, inconsistent rules, and staff who clearly aren’t supported. Until they replace Casey, I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

If you're in Swainwood, consider it one of the many perks of the community, summer just wouldn’t be the same without it.

This was my first time visiting this pool. Upon entering, I noticed the male coordinator at the front register was openly vaping inside the facility. I found this unprofessional and concerning, especially in a family-oriented environment. Pricing in website is inaccurate . Website states $13 non resident payed $15.
