What are people saying (AI review summary)? While most reviews praise the pool as a 'great,' 'old school,' and 'not uptight' place for families to enjoy summer with a relaxed atmosphere, one long-time patron shared a deeply concerning experience. This review details an incident where an employee or administrator brought a dog into the children's pool, violating rules and posing a health risk. When confronted, the employee, who smelled of alcohol, was dismissive and claimed ownership of the pool, highlighting a clear double standard as regular patrons are forbidden to bring dogs. This incident led the loyal family to leave feeling disappointed, unsafe, and questioning the management's integrity and commitment to safety.

A Family Who Always Loved This Pool… Until Yesterday My family has been coming to this pool for three years in a row. We’ve always loved the warm atmosphere here and have only had the best memories. We brought friends, recommended this place to others, and truly felt at home. That’s why it’s so hard for me to write these words — because yesterday, something happened that completely changed how we feel about our favorite place. On 08/10/2025, we came to the pool with our family and close friends to enjoy a beautiful summer day. Our children, aged 3 to 6, were happily splashing around in the kids’ pool, laughing and playing as children do. Suddenly, a man walked into the kids’ pool with his dog — letting the dog into the water with the little ones. We were shocked. This wasn’t just a clear violation of the rules — it was a health and safety risk for the children. Later, we found out that this man was an employee or a member of the pool’s administration. When I expressed my concern and asked him to remove the dog from the kids’ pool, he responded by saying, “My dog is also a child,” and that “this pool is run by me.” He smelled strongly of alcohol. After a short argument, he finally left the kids’ pool with his dog — but the fact that this happened at all is deeply disturbing. Trying to make sense of the situation, I asked at the entrance if I could bring my own dog (and my friends’ dogs) so they could also “have fun” in the pool. I was given a firm “no.” So the rules apply strictly to regular visitors — but not to the people who are supposed to enforce them. We gathered our things and left, with our children disappointed and confused. It broke my heart — for three years we’ve supported this pool, bought season passes, brought guests, and now we leave with nothing but a sense of injustice and concern. And I am left with one question: if the administration feels free to break the most basic rules, putting children’s safety at risk, what else is happening here that regular visitors don’t see?
I grew up swimming here and now my kids do, too. Great little pool for the summer.
Great place. Old school pool where you can actually enjoy yourself without a million detailed rules. So happy we joined here

Great pool for the family and hanging out. Not one of those other uptight pools.
