First time going to Tinley water park and it was a great experience. My son's classmate had her birthday party there on a perfect 96° Sunday afternoon. We had the "birthday" pavilion reserved for us. We were able to cut the line since we were there for the birthday party and it helped a lot because there was a HUGE line. The pavillion was nice and clean with plenty of seats/benches and private bathrooms. The water park itself is nice and really clean. Staff is really on it with maintaining the place clean and organized. They did drills evry hour where kids had to get out of the water for safety check. They have a lazy river with 2 huge slides.
This park is amazing! We had such a great time that we went back the same week. The pricing is great for all of the amenities that they have. There's plenty of seating & the eatery is great. I can't say enough about the lifeguards and staff. They're so aware of what's going on & are constantly watching. Next year, we're going to get the yearly pass.
Registered the family for the pool pass & highly recommend because you could find yourself waiting in a 2 block long line if you don’t. The front desk staff was very friendly everytime & helpful. The life guards are professional & ifs clear that they take their job very seriously. This facility allows bottled water but no additional food & bags are checked at the door. Bathrooms are maintained pretty well & the grounds itself are kept clean & free from debris. The ratio of staff to patrons feels safe however, definitely keep an eye on the younger of your kiddos. The water slides & the lazy river are always a big hit.
Nice waterpark but so many ignorant kids there. You can tell they have no respect and parents nowhere to be found. What was amazing to me is that how many times the lifeguards had to jump in the water to assist these kids that apparently can’t swim. Who goes in 12ft of water and can’t make it to the ladder to leave? And, of course, parents nowhere to be found. At least wear a life vest if the kids aren’t strong swimmers.
I attended the pool with my grandchildren and I was appalled how dirty the restrooms were filthy poop on the floors dirty pads and debris. No staff ever cleaning or checking restrooms. The cafe is even worse they have high school twits working there like airheads clueless and slow. They were out of lemonade on a 95 degree day makes no sense why wouldn’t they be prepared. The chairs are old and filthy need to be replaced they had these since my kids were little. We’ve been coming here for decades they need remodeling or a refresh of the place. The lifeguards are rude too they wouldn’t let my teenage granddaughter 13 swim alone without an adult when many other kids were alone. I guess they don’t want another drowning death like last year or lawsuits im sure. But I saw other kids swimming without parents many. This place has gone downhill we probably won’t be returning anymore due to these issues. The pools dirty too there’s kids just wearing diapers and not bathing suits either. The diving board and slides were closed too so we paid money for that and it’s not open. To top it off they should resident priority over no. Resident we almost didn’t get in the non residents are taking over and no senior lines for handicap or elderly to go in with residents. It was a terrible day I wasn’t pleased.
