They need to change the swim schedule- having parent/child swim from 12:45 until 3:30pm on weekends overlaps with the most common nap times for toddlers, including mine. So I'm not even able to use the pool during the weekend AND it closes earlier at 4:45pm! Some other city pools are open until 7pm. I think the city should prioritize Washington Park pool being open longer because it has an awesome water slide and the best shallow play area for little kids. In summary, the pool is awesome but the schedule is not functional.

I like Washington Park. It’s just that one thing when I work there one day somebody said I can’t jump and run to the pool, but I kind of didn’t listen a little bit and I jumped in the second time while running and I gotta sit in timeout and what I got on a slide, the slide always Warm but when I got on there It was cold, so how Go to before and now the slide hole I can’t jump and run to the pool. If you can we run we stepping on concrete I’m not nowhere near the pool so I can’t run.

This is a horrible placecame here two days in a row they change the timesswin times without notice and lie about not having enough lifeguards how you dnt have enough life guards to let people swim when it’s a heat wave out but they sitting around laughing and talking on the job which is very unprofessional this place need to be looked into by the bbb

I love this big beautiful clean pool. The only thing lacking here is lounge chairs. There are a few tables with umbrellas and metal wire chairs but no lounge chairs for lying by the side of the pool. Oh well, it's a great pool. They've updated the lock room since I was last there, admittedly that was years ago. But at any rate, it's nice with working lockers and a clean small bathroom and shower area.
