Sizable outdoor leisure spot featuring a lap-swimming area and a kiddie section.
Specific, daily pool temperatures for Woodland Trails Pool are generally not publicly listed. However, public pools of this type typically maintain their water at comfortable swimming temperatures, often in the range of 80-84°F (27-29°C) for leisure areas, with lap pools potentially being slightly cooler and tot pools sometimes warmer, to ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is described as a quintessential public pool, well-suited for families with kids, offering a large main pool (with dedicated lap lanes, though one user found the lap swimming setup unusual), a wading pool for toddlers, a splash play area, and a slide. Amenities include a snack bar, chairs, shade, lifeguards (who take hourly breaks), locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms. Adult admission is $7 on weekdays and $10 on weekends, with children 3 and under free. However, there are complaints about poor communication regarding schedules, specifically difficulty getting information for the splash pad and frustration with the website showing incorrect operating hours or pools closing during weekdays by mid-August.
Reviews
The pool itself is great but they have a bizarre set up for lap swimming. As someone who has been a swimmer on many swim teams over 30+ years, I have never seen a pool that has you swim down in one lane, go under the lane line, and come back in another lane as a way of circle swimming. Super bizarre set up.
Enjoyed being out ppl watching my friend will most definitely take her grandkids there
Anybody can post the schedule for the tots splash pad please! No one would answer the phone!
This is the quintessential public pool. Families with kids, a snack bar, wading pool for toddlers, chairs, shade (if you want it), lifeguards, a splash play area and even a slide. The main pool is fairly large with 1 or 2 lanes roped off for laps. $7 per adult during the week, $10 on weekends. Age 3 and under are free. Not sure about other age groups. The lifeguards rotate often and take a 10 minute break at the top of the hour at which time the young'uns have to get out of the pool. That's your chance to hit the snack bar with plenty of variety and a place to sit and eat it. There are also vending machines. You pass through a locker room to get to the pool. You can rent a locker but there's no need to because there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on what you can carry out to the seating area. Plus there are showers and, of course, bathrooms. Overall a good place to take the kids and enjoy some time in the sun.
Please at least don't write on your website that you're open if you're closed. I never visited these place. But why after mid of August all the pools are closed during the week? Just open on weekends. Why People that doesn't go to school can't go to swimming pool during week? Not all the people are students. Enough lying on the people.
