What are people saying (AI review summary)? Aqua-Tots generally receives high praise for its caring and friendly staff, who often treat families like their own and know children by name. Many reviewers highlight the effectiveness of the coaches, specifically mentioning Coach Jon and Coach Ben, for their patience, enthusiasm, and ability to help children make significant progress in a short time. Kids often look forward to their lessons and develop crucial water safety skills, such as floating, breath-holding, returning to the side, and independent swimming, leading to increased confidence and peace of mind for parents. The 'tears to cheers' philosophy is also noted as effective. However, a notable concern for some customers is the inconsistency in class scheduling due to instructor absences or pool issues, coupled with poor notification practices for cancellations or changes. Frequent instructor changes have also led to disappointment for some, causing them not to renew their classes.

I absolutely love this place!!! I was super nervous about starting my daughter in swim lessons, but Aqua Tots made me feel safe! The staff there treat my daughter and I like family! We can sit there and have a conversation as if we are life time friends!🤍 The way they all show love to her makes my mama heart so happy. When we walk in every single time they greet her with open arms and so so much love! My daughter has Coach Jon and she LOVES him so so much. Everytime it is a swim day she’s always saying “I see Coach Jon today!!” 🥰 The patience he has with the kids and the excited look on his face when my daughter (or other kids) gets something we have been working on just makes my heart so happy. I will forever recommend Coach Jon & Aqua TOTs to all of my friends!!! Love this place & the staff so much. They have truly become a part of my family.🤍
Our kiddos have learned so much in just two months of classes! They've gone from no experience with being in a pool to being able to float, hold their breath, tolerate water on their faces, return to the side of the pool, dive for objects, kicking to propel forward, and more. We couldn't be happier! All their coaches have been fabulous, but we've been particularly fond of Coach Ben's approach with our crew. We have so much more peace of mind with our kids' safety in water.
Highly recommend Aqua-tots! Love all thr instructors. My kids look forward to their lessons. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating when it comes to multiple kids and juggling a busy schedule as a parent. My kids are so much more confident in the water!
At first, we really enjoyed Aqua-Tots Bryant Irving. However, over the past year, we have had numerous classes rescheduled and canceled due to an absent instructor or pool issues. I rushed from work to get to swim class on time, only to discover that my son's class was canceled or changed to an EARLIER TIME. (See the attached photo). Twice, we were notified that our weekly time slot was deleted because the instructor was no longer available. Twice, the instructor my son loved has "moved on," and my son was given a new instructor for his weekly time slot. This whole experience has become disappointing to my son and myself because of the inconsistency with swim instructors and poor notification when classes are canceled/rescheduled. We will not be renewing our swim classes this fall. -Jennifer Gilmore
Everyone is so welcoming and friendly at this location! They know my children by name when we come in the door and make every lesson comfortable and fun but still challenging. Trust the “tears to cheers” philosophy. It was a big adjustment when my son moved from swimming with a parent in level 2 to swimming alone with a coach at level 3, but his coaches made it fun and were so comforting to him even on the toughest days. Now he’s 3 and can swim independently in shallow water (in arm’s reach) and it’s really awesome to see him enjoy the water with confidence. He can also get to the surface for air and swim to the edge of a deeper pool to climb out by himself, which is huge in case he ever fell into a pool.
