This facility is everything you want in a water park. The lifeguards are plenty! Bathrooms are clean and centrally located. Children will love this place! Several options to enter water with consideration of those with special needs. Ample picnic tables, cabanas, lounge chairs, concession stand and shaded areas. Well thought out for family fun accommodating all ages for fun in the sun.
Brought my kids to swim here. They liked the water tube slides. We relaxed on the lazy river. There's a nice area for little kids that includes a kiddie pool. The snack bar has a big list of offerings. It's a little smaller than other local city aquatic parks, but it keeps the crowd small. Lots of shaded seats available.
Best place. Was there today and watch the staff handle them self every well. They had to deal with Ignorant people, who tried to pull a fast one and sneak in 2 people who weren't paid for. When asked about them the people got belligerent and started to act out and yell loudly. The cashier Anna and Manager Ruben did everything in their power to deescalate the situation, before having to call the cops. I commend this staff on how they handle themselves. Definitely did not deserve the treatment they got for doing their jobs. Some people just don't know how to act in public. No home training. Good job Hurst staff.
Great environment. The life guards run drills all day to make sure they are ready for anything. Which at first I was like oh no someone is hurt . Then I saw the sign that states they run drills all day and figured it out. But overall great family friendly environment.
I would not recommend this aquatic center for a birthday party if you are a person of color. I personally witnessed the manager of this park racially profile and put out a Hispanic woman, a black man and a middle eastern woman for absolutely no reason at all. After the party arrived with a stack of pre purchased tickets the staff accepted the tickets and then another staff member that wasn't aware they paid accused them of not paying. Once it was proven they did pay that particular staff member became embarrassed that she was wrong but instead of doing the right thing and apologizing she told the manager they were irate and hurt her feelings and she wanted them to leave. I saw them spill the party's food upon arrival during the check in on purpose asking very loudly where the liquor was. The gentleman responded ma'am this is a child's party, we did not bring liquor. They checked their things and didn't find anything. The whole time the kids there for the party were scared and mortified at what they were witnessing. I saw a 9 year little girls party be ruined for no reason. They even went as far as calling the police on these people and I didn't witness them do a single thing wrong. It was disgusting to watch and when I witnessed it I immediately told the party I was with that we were leaving. I didn't want to give this park any more of my time and support. They get 10 thumbs down on professionalism. I am absolutely flabbergasted that in 2025 racial profiling such as this is still going on.
