The On Military Base Aquatic Center, likely referring to the primary aquatic facility at NAS JRB Fort Worth, typically offers both indoor and seasonal outdoor swimming options. The indoor facility provides year-round access for lap swimming and recreational activities, while the outdoor pool is open during warmer months, often featuring leisure areas.
Specific pool temperatures for this facility are not consistently advertised publicly. However, similar indoor aquatic facilities on military bases generally maintain their pools at a comfortable range, typically between 80-84°F (27-29°C) for general swimming and lap use. Outdoor pool temperatures are ambient and depend on external weather conditions during seasonal operation.

A great base amenity enabling consistent training. Reliable, friendly staff. Mike the manager is a former Marine and has this place humming! Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there...every morning even at 0600.
Very nice place. Water is clean and the staff is nice. Only issue is they must keep the heat down at night in the winter because the water is chilly. In the middle of winter a cold pool is tough unless you're pushing full laps. The water should be warmer. It's still worth going though, just be ready for cold water. The mask requirements on the base and in this facility is excessive. Honestly, we're in Texas, not New York City.
Nice facility, but closes often or is out-of-order. The lanes are frequently crowded with non-swimmers and the days and hours of operation are inconvenient. Lifeguards are quite immature and rude.
This pool is restricted use for those with military base access to the MWR facilities. It is a fantastic pool for swimming and fitness. The pool is always clean, the facility is always clean, and operated by professional people.
Great for kids on a hot day
