What are people saying (AI review summary)? Sun Valley Pool is generally regarded as an affordable and family-friendly destination, offering various amenities like a kiddie pool, lazy river, large pool with a diving board, water slides, and play structures. Reviewers appreciate its cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere, and ample seating. However, significant drawbacks include inconsistent customer service, particularly regarding admission charges, and frequent instances of large portions of the facility (such as the kids' area, lazy river, or water slides) being closed without prior notice, while still charging full price. The noon opening time is also noted as inconvenient for families with young children, and open areas can become overcrowded and chaotic when other sections are closed.

It had been about 15 years since I last visited Sun Valley Pool, and it was so fun to finally be back—this time with a little one in tow. I was disappointed to see the toddler shallow pool was closed, but we still had a great time. The pool was clean, there was plenty of seating scattered around, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I just wish they opened a bit earlier in the day—noon is a tough start time for families with young kids, but we’ll make it work. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
A good place for families and children. They have a kiddie pool (0 feet 6" tall, a lazy river (under 4' tall) and a bigger pool with a diving board that goes up to 12' tall. Lounge chairs and tables available. There are lockers but not sure if you need a token because it didn't take my quarter. Showers are available in the bathrooms which is good for those wanting to wash the chlorine off. Residents of Lewisville fee $4 per person **show proof of address if not on State ID or Driver's license. Non-residents fee $8 per person. Kids under 2 years old is free.
Admission of $4 this place is an affordable place to cool off this summer. The lazy river is a good place to relax while the kids can play on the water jungle gym or under the mushroom waterfalls. Water slides for those that meet the height requirements. Plenty to keep the young ones busy.
I’ve been coming here for three summers in a row, today I received the worst service of all my visits. The people they have collecting the money at the front are so rude and unprofessional. Yesterday 06/28/2025 my kids and I ( 4 of us) came to the park. To get in it was 12 dollars, today we come just 24 hours later and the same lady from yesterday charged us 16 today. I simply asked why was I charged 4 extra dollars, she then slammed the window in my face!
Im pretty disappointed with this place. They had basically 80% or more of the center closed. No kids are, no lazy river and no water slides. Also, there were no signs letting anyone know until you went in the gates. The sad part is that it was full price. The pool with the jumping board was the only thing open, and it was packed. There were footballs being thrown and kids running everywhere.
