About

Free water park where visitors can cool off, but some say there are no seats.

Specific pool temperatures for Sycamore Water Park are generally not publicly published. As an outdoor public facility, the pools are typically unheated and their temperatures fluctuate with the ambient weather conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the park are mixed, with several complaints focusing on the splash pad and water features. Multiple users reported the splash pad being unexpectedly closed or off, even on hot days or during advertised operational periods (e.g., up to Labor Day weekend), citing reasons like a broken pipe or early closure when school started. Some feel the city is not prioritizing repairs. On the positive side, the park is described as great, clean, a source of good memories, and enjoyable for activities like Easter celebrations. A minor suggestion was made for more benches near the water, recommending visitors bring their own chairs. One review simply stated 'Lots of fun they enjoyed the waterpark'.

Loaded up my son came to the park, and the splash pad is closed. I did check the website After arrival, it does say that it is temporarily closed due to a broken pipe and that it was last updated 5/28/25. Seems like they could’ve gotten it fixed in two weeks. It’s not a priority for the city of Fort Worth I suppose.

The website says the water features will remain on until Labor Day. Right now is August 31st Labor Day weekend, and the water is OFF. This is the second time I’ve been here at 11:30AM and the water is not on. They turned it off when school started and it’s insanely hot outside side until the end of August.

This park is great, lots of memories. It’s really close to my house. We just celebrated Easter and we had a good time. It was clean, my only complaint is that’s it’s kind of secluded.
