What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Activity Center provides a variety of facilities including a swimming pool, courts for soccer, basketball, squash, and volleyball, and a gym. While generally seen as a good place for entertainment and activities, especially in the evenings, it can get very busy. The gym, in particular, receives mixed reviews; some find it well-equipped, while others criticize its small size and lack of accommodation for the student population during peak hours, citing issues like broken equipment (e.g., weight scales) and poor airflow. Other common complaints include warm water from drinking fountains and occasional lack of soap in the showers. The swimming pool is generally praised, though one user noted its clock was set to the wrong time zone.

The activity center is really a place if you want to play, entertain, or do a good time spending in the campus. It has equipped with all latest things and it's a worth look for. Also it's always busy in evening so if you want to enjoy something without less audience , you can go early morning or evening.
It is a quite pathetic display of a public university workout gym. UT Dallas is one of the biggest universities in the US, and has a good reputation in Texas. Yet, the activity center is lackluster in terms of accommodating their students during peak hours and on top of that, the gym is very small in proportion to the number of students that go there for working out. A very simple instrument like the weight measure scale does not even work and is out of order, and the staff said it is not a priority to fix it since not many people use it. The other parts of the activity center seems fine but the gym is a huge mess.
All of the drinking fountains have is warm water--it steams my friends glasses. Also the main gym desperately needs more airflow.
Amazing swimming pool, but can someone please tell the pool manager that the pools clock is set to Colorado time zone instead of CDT😅.
A lot of facilities: hall for soccer/basketball, many rooms for squash/volleyball. Gym is pretty good, it contains any facilities, which I can image. Sometimes a bit busy, but at night after noon there aren't queues. Swimming pool for 4-5 tracks looks cool, but I have never used it. Sometimes there is no soap in shower.
