What are people saying (AI review summary)? This YMCA location garners mixed feedback from patrons. Many reviewers highly praise the staff for being exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful, with specific mentions of excellent personal trainers and welcoming attitudes. The facility's cleanliness, especially the lockers, showers, and pool areas, is frequently highlighted as impeccable. Positive remarks also include a good variety of workout machines (including unique ones like a glute machine), great group classes, and a cool layout with a fun-looking Ninja room. However, significant criticisms involve a consistently packed and hazardous parking lot, often leading to close calls and vehicle damage due to inattentive drivers. The weightlifting area is described as small, poorly laid out, and equipped with outdated or limited machines. One reviewer experienced an unprofessional encounter with a staff member regarding checkout procedures. Additionally, the mandatory use of a mobile app for sign-in, without an analog alternative, is a point of contention for some, who view it as insecure data mining and an unnecessary imposition.

I came here a lot last year using my nationwide YMCA membership, but today left a bad taste in my mouth. I was unexpectedly yelled at by a staff member to “check out” when leaving, something I’ve never had to do at any other gym—YMCA or otherwise. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional. The parking lot is another major issue. It’s constantly packed with elderly drivers who don’t look before backing out. If you value your car, think twice—dings and close calls are more common here than they should be. Inside, the weightlifting area is small and poorly laid out. There’s not much room, and equipment is outdated or limited. The main problems boil down to staff attitude and a chaotic, hazardous parking lot. Not worth more than 2 stars in my book.
This is a great YMCA location. I visited this location from out-of-town and used the facilities twice. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and welcomed me like I was a local YMCA patron. I used the pool and lockers during both visits, and the lockers and showers were impeccably clean and new. The pool area and racquetball courts are excellent. I highly recommend this YMCA location.
Data mining by forcing you to sign in with their unscure app. Another modern technique to take advantage of the less technically litterate. Tell them you want an analog option, like a keypad to sign in. It's deplorable to force us to bring a smartphone to the gym at all.
Everything is impeccably clean and the staff are all very friendly. I had a wonderful workout and found all the machines I needed and then some! There is a glute machine which I haven’t found at any of the other Ys and the locker room has lotion! 😁 The layout is really cool and the Ninja room looks really fun!
Love the Y! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great group workout classes and excellent personal trainers. Shout out to Preston for keeping me going during challenging days and for keeping the workouts challenging!
