We love Goldfish! Huge shout out and appreciation for lifeguard Zack! Our 3 year old leaned too far while sitting on the side of the pool during class and fell in. Zack instantly jumped in and scooped him up without missing a beat. His quick reaction time kept our son safe and unfazed; he set him right back on the side of the pool and class continued. I credit his swiftness and calm response to our son not being fearful after the incident. I’ve always noticed that the lifeguards are constantly scanning the water and making eye contact with the kids throughout their lesson so they seem to be fully aware of where the kids are at all times. We took baby classes; took a break and are now in Junior 2. Our son has zero fear of the water and has gained so much confidence in the pool. At 3.5 years old he can doggy paddle, kick well, float on his back and climb out of the pool. He’s now working on increasing his distance and getting his arms out further to pull the water. All of the instructors and lifeguards are wonderful!
We’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience at Goldfish Swim School, thanks in large part to Miss Karly, who is truly an exceptional instructor. Miss Karly brings a warmth and positivity to her classes that is rare. She is consistently smiling, welcoming, and creates an environment where both children and parents feel at ease. Teaching little ones to swim is no small feat. Managing the needs of 5 to 6 young swimmers, calming parental worries, and keeping lessons fun and productive requires a remarkable mix of patience, skill, and emotional intelligence. Miss Karly does all of this with grace. Our child’s progress in the water has been beyond what we hoped for, and we credit so much of that to Miss Karly’s attentive and encouraging teaching style. As parents, we’ve felt supported, informed, and confident every step of the way. We wholeheartedly recommend Goldfish Swim School, this class, and especially Miss Karly to any family looking to build water skills in a positive, nurturing environment. She is a gifted instructor and a true leader, and we are so grateful to have been part of her class.
We love Goldfish! Over the years, my daughter has made such great strides in her swimming, and it’s all thanks to the amazing, caring teachers here. They’re patient, encouraging, and really know how to connect with kids. Highly recommend!
Both of our girls have had class with Miss Ella (Junior 1 and Mini 3) and loved their time with her. Our younger also had Miss Avery for Mini 2 and really enjoyed her time with her as well. She still enjoys getting to say hi to Miss Avery walking by on the way to her new class. Goldfish as a whole (including Ella and several other teachers) have been wonderful at helping both of our children when they have had anxious classes. With extra help, and a lot of understanding through transitions, it has been an all around wonderful experience here.
Both of my boys do swimming lessons at Goldfish Swim in Clarkston. One of my boys is in the swim force and the other just started the three year old class a month ago. We always see Mrs.Taylor when we come in and she greets the boys by their names and is always so friendly. In the water Miss. Karly has been great with my older son. She is patient, kind, and gives encouragement throughout the class. Lincoln loves Miss. Karley. Goldfish Swim School is fun and teaches my boys about water safety. We love Goldfish Swim School!
