Clean park and splash pad featuring water slides, lockers and picnic seating.
As a splash pad, Lily Pad Springs generally uses unheated, ambient temperature water from the municipal supply. Specific pool temperatures are not provided as the water fluctuates with external conditions rather than being actively temperature-controlled like a traditional heated pool.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Lilly Pad Springs is generally highly praised, especially for toddlers and young children, offering an amazing splash pad, a giant water bucket, and a clean facility with friendly staff. The park is fenced in and offers lockers and changing rooms. However, several common complaints include limited seating options, particularly those with shade, and a strict policy against outside food and drinks (only water allowed), with food options limited to vending machines or occasional food trucks. The park operates on a session-based entry system, closing for 30 minutes between 2-hour windows, with tickets priced per person ($8 for non-residents/$4 for residents). While fun for younger kids, older children may quickly find the activities, including the not-so-fast waterslides, boring. Some reviewers also questioned the claim of it being the 'largest water pad in Michigan' due to its perceived size and features.

Enjoyed this place! My only complaint would be seating. Need a lot more seating options. Including shade as well. No food is allowed which is a bummer. But have seating outside for eating. Pricing is only for a session. They shut down between time frames. Overall great experience. Fenced in. No worries!
You can create an account to buy tickets in advance. $8/person regardless of adult or child. You buy a pass for a 2 hour window. The park closes for 30min in between each session. Several tables and benches around the outside, but I can see where it would get limited if there were a lot of people here. Only water allowed in, no food or orlther drinks. There are lockers and changing rooms available. The waterslides aren't fast, I'm sure for safety reasons. Definitely geared towards younger children, but still lots of fun to be had, especially with the giant water bucket.
We enjoy going to Lilly pad springs. The splash is amazing and there’s so many activies for a variety of ages. It’s always very clean as well. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because food and water can be tough if you don’t go during a time when there’s a food truck. However they do have vending machines available
I am a non resident and I took my 3 year old on a Saturday at 4pm. I purchased tickets ahead of time. The two tickets were $7 each. If you’re a resident, tickets are only $4 each. We arrived 15 minutes early to the 2 hour session and waited till they let us in the park. We were able to secure a bench seat because we weren’t stuck waiting in the ticket line. I highly recommend arriving early and pre-purchasing tickets because there are a limited amount of benches and tables. I think this splash pad is great for toddlers and young children but older kids will get bored quickly. The bucket dumps water every 45 seconds so getting drenched is unavoidable if you’re going to go down the slides with your kids. No food or beverages other than water and no arm floaties or floats are allowed. Staff was friendly and facility was clean.
When you read the description of Lily Pad Springs on its web site it says it's the largest water pad in Michigan. Not sure what they are basing this on? When we drove up the kids thought I went to the wrong spot, where exactly is the largeness? There are 3 slides, nothing large tho, the water bucket is 55 gallons, most range much much higher. There was plenty of seating for adults who are there to watch and not get wet. The small toddler children were having the time of their life, I brought 2 12 year old boys, they had fun but a bit disappointed in the size and lack of activities for older kids. The staff were very friendly, the pad was clean and bathrooms were close to pad and very clean as well. If you have toddlers I would highly recommend. As far as having 2 hours, that's really all you need. I gave 4 stars for friendliness, cleanliness, and fun for toddlers, the missing star is for older kids, not enough to keep them busy.
